As a resident of the Mendocino Coast since 1977, I have developed a great love and respect for the independent and hardy lifestyle that has given this part of the world its character and charm. The ethnic diversity, from the early Italian and Portuguese fishermen to the logging industry dominated by immigrants of the Scandinavian countries, has shaped and influenced much of what you see today.



It was the rugged beauty that first attracted me to the Mendocino Coast, but it was the lifestyle that kept me here. Business can still be done on a handshake. Honesty and a good reputation are far more important than profit. And rush hour is over in ten minutes.



I maintain a small family-operated company devoted to quality workmanship. My brother and I began learning our trade at an early age. Actually, we had no choice. Our father put me to work at fourteen learning the various trades we would use for the rest of our lives. For me, it was in 1962. For my brother, it was eleven years later.

We cover every aspect of the building experience, from planning and development to polishing the door knob as we leave. Concrete, plumbing, framing, electrical, sheetrock, roofing, ceramic tile, painting -- our ability to do every phase of construction assures me that the job will be done without delays associated with the reliance of using subcontractors.
