Since becoming general contractors in 1983, we have gained extensive experience in commercial construction. Projects have included shopping centers, mini storage, concrete tilt-ups, business parks, office and research buildings, and a Marriott hotel. The intensity of this commercial experience has made us extremely cost and liability conscious. We can keep costs down without impairing our ability to construct quality homes.

We believe that it is preferable to restore an old house than to destroy it and start over. It is this construction philosophy which has gained us continuing remodel work. We have done extensive restoration on historical homes, outbuildings, and century-old barns. We are one of a few companies who specialize in installing concrete foundations under buildings that were originally built on wood foundations.

Owning our own heavy equipment allows us to save our clients both time and money by doing work in-house on an as-needed basis instead of relying on subcontractors and rental yards.

We operate our own wood production facility. This consists of a sawmill, kiln drying facility and complete production shop, including the ability to produce and shape wood in volume. We can make the finest beams and timbers as well as exotic and one-of-a-kind wood products such as siding, trim, flooring and moulding.

We promote the use of salvage wood. Salvaged old growth and hardwood from exotic sources can give your home a truly unique touch. Madrone or other hardwood flooring, fruitwood trim and cabinets are some of the many features just not available to the average builder.

With our portable mill, we can convert the trees on your site into the lumber for your home, adding to the beauty of your home with minimum impact on our resources and your pocketbook. These facilities are available to our building clients on a priority basis.
