Whether building a new house or remodeling a commercial building, the building experience can be difficult and sometimes even traumatic for the owners. What we try to do is to take into account not only the actual construction process, but the importance of the natural emotional ups-and-downs that happen during any major construction project. We pride ourselves in offering to the clients the most polite, respectful and tidiest crews on the coast and, though these may sound like minor items, we continually gather letters of appreciation from our clients concerning these very attributes.

As the owner and general contractor who started this business 12 years ago, I bring to the company my 31 years of working experience and the experience of being a fifth generation involved in the trades. Born and raised on the northern California coast, I can bring the years of understanding the climate, people and materials which are essential for quality building here. I am involved in the constant updating and training of the people who work here so that we can provide a quality product using the latest techniques and materials available to the client.
The quality of our work speaks best through our clients' letters of recommendation, the products we have in the public eye, and the number of repeat clients we have had over our 12 years in business on the coast. We offer to any potential clients the names and numbers of our last three clients, not our best three or just a list of the "good projects," but the last three. This gives you the opportunity to see our latest work and to ask how we are doing today.

We attempt to keep our employees as long-term employees so that we can provide consistency and quality. Our crews are made up of people with years of experience and young go-getters eager to please the clients by working in the most efficient manner possible. We also pride ourselves on our businesslike manner in the office from the consistent monthly billings and project updates to our abilities to provide accurate estimates and timely permit processing.

We consider not only our working crews but the quality subcontractors we use to be the best available for the clients' needs. We are lucky to have a pool of quality workmanship available to us for the specialty trades and we continue to do business with the same subs year after year because they bring us the expertise our clients deserve. Our projects over the last few years have included several homes, remodels and reconstruction of a historic Fort Bragg structure. The size of the projects we took on in 1999 have gone from $250.00 to $1.5 million, as well as several no profit/no fee community based projects we have completed or been involved in that have been part of our commitment to the community.
